Prior to becoming self employed, I spent 19 years working in a variety of human resources roles, providing advice to senior managers and employees, and I appreciate the value of building strong relationships while managing complex and diverse demands and priorities.
I have spent the last ten years juggling work and a young family, and therefore also understand the challenges of balancing competing priorities, and finding the time and energy to move forward with my own goals.
I use my experience and expertise as an HR Professional to provide a focused and specialist service, enabling people managers to concentrate on their most demanding priorities. Focusing the following key areas allows me to ensure you get a specialist and thorough service: I act as an external Investigator for disciplinary and grievance investigations; I chair appeal panels when there is no one appropriate in the business to do so; I support managers investigating allegations in their own business through training and mentoring; and I write and update Human Resources Policies.
As a Coach I place a strong emphasis on wellbeing and self-awareness in my work, helping my clients appreciate the positive aspects of their lives and empowering them to take control of their future. I combine this with my Human Resources knowledge to offer wellbeing workshops and coaching to increase the resilience and commitment of your employees.
I have a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, and I have been a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 2013. In 2018, I made the decision to broaden my expertise, qualifying with a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching from the Coaching Academy in 2019. Furthermore, I am accredited to administer and interpret The Coaching Academy DISC Personal Assessment Tool, which enables people to better understand themselves, their employees, and their colleagues, and can be used very effectively in a variety of contexts for personal or team development.
